Romania’s national football team held Austria to a 1-1 draw in a home match Wednesday evening, in group seven of the World Cup qualifiers.

Romania, which is out of the competition for the finals, opened score in the 55th minute through forward Gheorghe Bucur. Visitors evened the score in the 82nd minute through defender Franz Schiemer.
