Speaking at an event promoting the National Rural Development Program in Braila, eastern Romania, Tariceanu said the government will allocate EUR10 billion funds for agriculture by 2013, out of which EUR8 billion is EU financing.
The money “will positively change Romanian agriculture and villages,” Tariceanu said.
He said the development of Romanian agriculture involves three major steps: upgrading farming activities, increasing the added value of farming and forestry products and modernization works in villages.
