"We’ve presented the president with our point of view for the president, which is based on the need to form a parliament majority as soon as possible and of a government capable of taking the necessary measures to counter the effects of the global economic crisis, to reduce these effects and take active measures to allow Romania to continue its economic growth registered in the past four years. In this respect, I handed the president our plan of action in the economic sector, which envisages economic growth and secure jobs, and which is conditioned by having the Liberal Party in the government,” Tariceanu said.
He stressed that liberals’ propositions require clear guarantees and therefore the prime minister can only be liberal.
He added liberals are open to talks with all political parties that made parliament and are willing to compromise on the governing program.
