Spataru added the government enacted the decision regarding the organization of local elections, based on the agreement between political parties with respect to election dates and technical details.
The government’s spokeswoman added the government will enact a government decision regarding the uninominal election of county council heads, after the uninominal voting system law takes effect.
The government approved Wednesday a set of ten decisions for the organization of a first round of local elections on June 1. The second round is to take place June 15.
