Cseke also said he has received many requests from companies looking to build hospitals in Romania. Firms interested in partnering with the state must have a turnover of at least EUR5 million and a profit of EUR500,000 per year.
The Health Ministry’s plan to build a network of six emergency hospitals in public-private partnership received the green light from the Government on Wednesday. The hospitals will be built in Cluj-Napoca, Craiova, Iasi, Targu Mures, Timisoara and Bucharest. The financing (estimated at a total EUR1.5 billion) and management will be private.
