"I gave my vote to that party which I think has the best political," said Boc, who is also the head of the Democratic Liberal Party.
He added he came to the polls for Romania, to have the country’s interests represented in Brussels and help it enter the Schengen area in 2011 and the eurozone in 2014.
"It’s a vote for Europe. I believe that once every five years, each Romanian citizen can spare five minutes of their time for Europe, as a form of respect for being part of the large European family,” the prime minister concluded.
