"At the railroad companies there are staff problems, namely they are overstaffed, and the salary fund is too high compared to the ministry’s resources. In the next two-three weeks there will be some changes made there, which will cause social disturbance," Berceanu said.
He added 93% of collections made by the railroad companies represents the salary fund.
The restructuring program sent by the Ministry of Transport to railroad unionists on March 20 states the reduction of staff by 12,139 throughout the entire system.
