Initiative estimates advertising budget drawn by television networks by the end of the year will decrease 33% compared with 2008.
Advertising budgets for print media will are also seen decreasing by more than 50% by the end of the year, while radio advertising is seen down 30% this year. Outdoor advertising budgets are also seen decreasing 35% to 40% this year compared with 2008.
In last year’s study, Initiative estimated the Romanian media market would reach about EUR590 million in 2008, up 22% from 2007, when the media market was at EUR486 million and 32% more than in 2006.
