Romanian National Minorities Parliament Group To Vote For 2010 State Budget

The national minorities group in the Romanian Parliament will vote for the 2010 state budget and deputies representing minorities “will do everything in their power” to annul all the measures which led to economic depression, group leader Varujan Pambuccian said Monday.

Pambuccian said the budget is built on the concept „We have no choice,” meaning it imposes „huge restrictions, which do not allow for development or long-term plans.”

The national minorities’ lawmaker group leader said he hopes the lump sum tax and „loads of non-deductible expenses in enterprises” would be annulled, arguing that these measures only left people unemployed and in the state’s care.
