Romanian 4Q ‘10 Finalized Dwellings Down By 6,251 To 16,680 Units

In the whole 2010, some 48,812 dwellings were delivered, down by 12,289 compared with a year earlier.

Housing finalized in the rural area represented 59% of the total residential constructions in October to December 2010, while in the last three months of 2009, dwellings delivered in rural areas represented 53.6% of the total.

In 2010, most constructions were financed from private funds, namely 94.4%. Thus, housing finalized in 2010 with private funds reached 46,086 units, while housing built from public funds were at 2,726 units.
