According to prosecutors, Dumitrascu, 27, allegedly sold 2.73 grams of hashish on June 11 to one of his collaborators and 95.67 grams on June 12.

The press office of the Bucharest Court said the preventive arrest proposal would be debated Friday.

The sports club’s general manager Valentin Samungi confirmed Dumitrascu works at the club as masseur of the basketball team.

Samungi told MEDIAFAX Friday that Dumitrascu is a trustworthy person who never caused any problems, stressing he even presented good references before he signed the collaboration contract with the club.

Samungi added the outcome of the investigation would help him take the necessary measures in this respect.
