Boc said Saturday that the vote cast by Romanians who chose a single-chamber Parliament, and a reduction in the number of MPs, represent the top priority for the democrat liberals, adding he hopes the social democrats and liberals will be reasonable when it comes to amending the Constitution.

Boc made these statements at the end of the meeting held in mountain resort Poiana Brasov by the PDL leaders.

Other priorities mentioned by Boc include the pension system reform Law and the fiscal responsibility law, as well as the national education law, which need to be enacted in the legislative session that starts Monday.
In addition, Boc said the „First Home” program will be continued and the Statute of the Minorities will be once again pushed in Parliament, after debates on the document were halted in 2007.
