Prime Minister Calin Tariceanu confirmed parliamentary elections will be held on November 30.

Official sources told MEDIAFAX Tuesday the government would set the election date for November 30, citing the draft government decision. They also said elections would cost the country an estimated 100 million lei (EUR1=RON3.5496).

Under Romanian law, the government has to set the date for parliament elections at least 90 days in advance.
