Marko said the valid partners of the Magyar Union are only the Social Democratic Party, the Democratic Liberal Party and possibly the Conservative Party.
„I think UDMR is able to form a governing alliance with a party or another, but not at all costs. Not for the sake of power or getting budget. What is important, we have mayors here who know how important budget is and what a blocked investment means,” Marko said.
The senator said a new government before the presidential elections is not to be desired, although the current ruling coalition „has stopped being a coalition long time ago”.
He said a new government should appear after the presidential elections, and the Magyar Union ought to focus on that and also on the direction the country could choose.
