The police seized 187.623 kilograms of high-risk drugs (cocaine, heroin, amphetamine), 73.281 kilograms of cannabis and hashish and 32,867 drug tablets.
According to the source, 149 drug dealer groups were disbanded by organized crime police in the first seven months of 2010, up 15.50% compared to the same interval last year.
Following investigations, 1,128 people were indicted for drug dealing, human trafficking, money laundering and cyber crime in the January-July interval, up 26.19% on the year, said the police.
