The sole article of the decision stipulates the "Chamber of Deputies rejected as inadmissible the request of the Prosecution Office with the High Court of Justice that legislative proceedings be resumed with respect to file 114/2007 at the National Anticorruption Department."

In January, anticorruption prosecutors charged Nastase with using his position in 2004 as president of the Social Democratic Party to obtain money or goods for himself or others.
