Romanian Chamber of Deputies speaker Roberta Anastase submitted Wednesday a legislative initiative according to which lists of lawmakers who are present or absent from parliamentary commission or plenary meetings would be published on the Parliament’s website each week.

Romania’s Democratic Liberal Party, or PDL, plans to revise the Constitution after general elections end-November to instate a single-chamber Parliament and reduce the number of lawmakers.
