The Strategic Communication Group has announced on Tuesday that in Romania there are 2.245 persons infected with COVID-19, with 293 cases more than on Monday. 220 people were declared healed, and 69 died.

A new case of infection with the AH1N1 virus was confirmed, Tuesday evening, by the Romanian Cantacuzino Institute, namely one person who arrived on June 8 from Toronto, Canada, according to the Romanian Ministry of Health.

Another two cases of contamination with the new flu virus AH1N1 in Romania were confirmed Thursday, health minister Ion Bazac said.
