Romanian Prime Minister Emil Boc on Friday denied rumors that he planned to resign following a Constitutional Court ruling regarding the education bill he had sought to adopt through a confidence vote in Parliament.

Romania’s opposition lawmakers walked out in protest soon after the start of a plenary meeting during which the Government is seeking a confidence vote to pass a bill reforming the country’s education system.
