The standing offices of Romania’s two chambers of parliament meet Wednesday to decide on whether or not to call for an extraordinary plenary session, Senate chairman Nicolae Vacaroiu said Monday.

The plenary session of the Romanian parliament was suspended Wednesday on lack of quorum, after lawmakers had cast votes on the extension of mandates for members of the Court of Accounts.
