Sphera Franchise Group’s consolidated restaurant sales have dropped by approximately 33% on year during the March 1-22 period and by approximately 75% on year during the March 16-22 period, as a result of the gradual closing of its restaurants.

The motorcycle market in Romania grew 43.2% in 2019 compared with 2018, to 2,177 units sold, data from the from the Automotive Manufacturers and Importers Association (APIA) showed Monday.

Sphera Franchise Group (SFG.RO), which manages restaurants under the KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell brands, said Monday its consolidated sales grew 23.8% on the year in 2019, to RON955 million (around EUR201 million).

Romanian carmaker Dacia, owned by France's Renault, sold 55,463 vehicles in Romania in 2019, slightly higher compared with 54,593 vehicles in 2018, it said in a press release Friday.
