Bucharest Mayoralty To Spend EUR3.5M On Infrastructure Services For Old City Center

The Bucharest mayoralty will pay nearly EUR3.5 million, VAT not included, for services of contract management consultancy and supervision of design and construction works needed to restore the base infrastructure in Bucharest’s historical center.

The mayoralty will set up an auction early April to assign the contract of services of contract management consultancy and supervision of upgrade works on the base infrastructure in pilot zone A of Bucharest’s old center, according to the announcement published on public auctions website www.e-licitatie.ro.

The contract targets the completion of services of consultancy in infrastructure, inspection and supervision of construction works, as well as consultancy in the field of public purchases.

The contract, estimated at RON14,335,280 (nearly EUR3.5 million), VAT not included, which will be paid from the municipality budget and foreign loans, will run for four years (48 months) and will be assigned to the lowest bidder.

Interested bidders must submit a participation guarantee worth 80,000 lei (EUR1=RON4.1252), and a guarantee of good execution set at 7% of contract value.
