Udrea and two secretary of state in the Ministry of Tourism attended Tuesday the meeting of the parliamentary committee that is investigating the ministry’s spending of public money .
Udrea and committee president Ludovic Orban accused each other of infringing laws, the Constitution and the regulations of the Chamber of Deputies.
Udrea accused the leaders of the committee of acting abusively and said the committee is not working legally.
Orban urged Udrea to explain how come the Tourism Ministry continued to send documents to the inquiry committee even after she publicly stated all the required documents had been sent.
Asked by deputy Aura Vasile why she does not want to respond to the inquiry committee’s requirements, Udrea resumed accusations regarding the illegal activity of the committee and left the meeting.
