Romanian Govt Accepts Over 70 Amendments To Unitary Pay, Restructuring Laws

Romania’s Government accepted 34 of the 300 amendments proposed to the law restructuring government agencies and 39, of nearly 780 amendments proposed to the unitary pay law in the public sector, and decided to resume talks on the law pack in education on September 14, official sources said Sunday.

„The Executive accepted a part of the amendments proposed to the law restructuring government agencies and the law regulating wages across the public sector, while talks on the amendments proposed to the law pack in education will be resumed Monday morning,” according to official sources.

Government officials met Sunday to decide which of the amendments submitted by lawmakers can be accepted for the draft laws for which the Government plans to take responsibility before Parliament on September 15.
