Romanian Coalition Govt Meets Monday Evening To Discuss Pension, Education Laws

President Traian Basescu invited parliamentary parties at the presidential palace for talks on the pension bill, which he has sent back to Parliament for reexamination, the education bill, the unitary wage law, future privatizations and the absorption of EU funds. Opposition parties have declined to take part in the talks.

„We (the ruling Democratic Liberal Party) agreed the bills we have talked about need to be adopted urgently,” Boc said.
