The Ministry of Justice told MEDIAFAX Saturday that minister Predoiu maintains his statements according to which the enactment of the four codes – Criminal Code, Criminal Procedure Code, Civil Code and Civil Procedure Code – represents one of the reasons for which he accepted to remain minister. The Ministry of refused to comment further.
Romanian liberal head Calin Tariceanu, said Saturday justice minister Catalin Predoiu told him, when they talked about the continuation of his mandate in the ministry, that he will resign when the four codes – Criminal, Civil, Criminal Procedure and Civil Procedure – are adopted.
